GM Diet: How Does the Soup Promote Weight Loss?

The GM diet, also called the General Mills diet, is an infamous weight loss program, which promises people to shed up to six.8 pounds (15 pounds) within a period of one week. In this diet, a person is permitted to consume certain specific foods or select from certain food categories every single day. Each meal is served exactly the same way and each dish consists of the same number of calories. This diet program is said to be very easy and convenient to follow, but what’s the catch? What are the facts behind the so-called perfect diet and why do people think that it’s effective?

One of the main things you’ll hear about the GM diet is that it’s based on ”unconventional” eating habits. A number of foods are permitted to count as one of your five daily servings while others are entirely banned – such as artificial sweeteners, hydrogenated oils, refined grains, and sugars. Some of the foods that are restricted from the diet include bananas, carrots, broccoli, cauliflower, egg whites, ham, processed meat, potatoes, salt, sugar, white rice, and strawberries.

The truth is that, contrary to claims by those selling the diet plans, it is not unhealthy or a cause for obesity or diet-related diseases. There have been studies aiming to prove that the GM diet may lead to some increase in blood pressure and cholesterol levels. But these studies have been largely disregarded by diet promoters since it’s difficult to draw conclusions about something that’s still in its early stages. As mentioned, the primary goal of the gm diet is to help people lose weight, not gain it. In many ways, it’s similar to other weight loss programs that require participants to modify their eating habits in order to successfully shed a few pounds.

The gi diet was introduced in the 1980s, and at that time, its creator, Loraine Cordain, saw how her teenage daughter kept breaking bad eating habits. She decided that she would develop a program to help children understand healthy eating patterns. With the help of friends, she created the soup diet, which taught kids that healthy eating doesn’t mean consuming food that’s prepared in a specific way.

This soup diet is considered very effective. But, in the midst of praises and adoration for the gm diet, some experts have begun to question whether the soup has actually depleted the body of nutrients since most of the liquid consumed is not drunk. More importantly, they argue that the soup encourages an unhealthy lifestyle since most nutrition and thirst-related activities are discouraged due to feelings of hunger.

If you’re worried about your weight, you should think twice about going on the GM diet. It’s good to consider your goals and your weight loss progress as you embark on the program. You can also talk with a registered nutritionist, your doctor, and other health care providers about your goals and your calorie needs. But remember that experts say that it’s best to consult your doctor before going on any kind of diet. They can help you identify which foods you can eat and which you shouldn’t.
